Collection: Handmade Bamboo Fibre Scarf

Bamboo Clothing is a natural and gentle choice of fabric to place against the skin.
Bamboo is a cellulose fibre extracted or fabricated from natural bamboo and is made from the pulp of bamboo plants. A bamboo fibre resembles cotton in unspun form, a puffball of light and airy fibres.

To make bamboo fibres, a crushing and steaming process extracts Bamboo Cellulose from the soft inner pith of the bamboo and its leaves and they are further spun and dyed for weaving the wonderfully soft Bamboo fabric.

When a bamboo baby garment finishes its useful life, it can be returned to the earth, as it is 100% biodegradable. As a natural cellulose fibre, bamboo fabric can be 100% biodegraded in soil by micro-organisms and sunlight. The decomposition process does not pollute the environment.
